Lately, I'm right in the middle of something with Eli or Dylan and I think, "Oh, I've got to Blog about this or that". I wish so much I could look back over the stuff I wrote when Dylan was this age because there really is so much you forget. I try to remember if Dylan was doing certain things at the age Eli is now. I can't. Because of so many website changes, I don't have much in writing. So, I guess this time I should be keeping all these Blogs on my own computer. That would be smart, wouldn't it?
Eli is smiling tons but he's a little low on the giggles. He really has to be in the right mood at the right time for giggles. He doesn't hand them out near as freely as Dylan did. He's pooching out quite well. I would guess he weighs in the vicinity of 15 or 16 pounds. I'll have an exact in a couple weeks when we go for our 4-month checkup.
We're pretty much on a schedule. He wakes between 7 and 7:15 in the morning for his first bottle. About halfway through his first bottle he does his duty and then comes back to finish the bottle. At least, most of the time he comes back to finish it. Sometimes he doesn't want any more to eat. He's awake until 9 or 9:15 and then takes his first nap until 11:00. He eats another bottle and is awake until 1 or 1:15 in the afternoon. He naps until 3:00 and eats another bottle. He's awake until about 5 and then naps until 6:30 or 6:45 where he gets a 4 oz. bottle and then is awake until about 8:45. He naps for about 30 minutes and then we wake him for his last bottle of the evening which is typically a 7 oz. formula/cereal bottle and then he's back to sleep until morning. It's a pretty good schedule. The only part I don't really care for is the part where he and Dylan are only asleep at the same time for about an hour. We'll work through that and as Eli gets older we will adjust that.
I'd love to post some new pictures for you, but I can't seem to get the Gallery to work. I'm going to look into some other options and I'll get back with you.
